Prince Kaybee quit school in the eleventh grade because his mother could not afford to keep him there. After three years of couch-surfing and club hopping, he got a job as a DJ at a Nigerian club, and the rest is, uh, history.

Boity Thulo, while being extremely bright, did not finish high school like many other well-known South Africans. The famous student had begun studying criminology and psychology at Monash University until her mother could no longer pay the tuition. Fortunately for Boity, she is also quite competent. She struggled to find her scholastic footing but has achieved professional success as an actor and singer.

In an interview with Metro FM, DJ Maphorisa said that, after finishing high school, he enrolled in a year of technical education at a local university before dropping out to pursue his music career.
Moreover, the well-known individual disclosed that he had gone back to school because, despite his earlier success without a degree, he was having trouble securing jobs.
